第一次搭程馬航班機，順利降落。飛機剛起飛時還有人大叫了幾下因為很搖晃!第一次入境馬來西亞，來到沙巴! 下機第一個看見的就是zika病毒的海報。先是在華人區吃午餐，然後到旅館旁邊的購物中心逛逛，看到很多穿戴希賈布的婦女。喝了榴槤汁，很好吃! 不過超市的水果有好多是爛掉的! 買防曬油發現SPF都到130了! 有一個大象牌拖鞋，當地很出名，我們就買了幾雙，穿起來很舒服。也買了幾件遮太陽的長袖襯衫。

First time flying with Malaysian Airlines, and survived the flight. When the plane took off it was shaking so much that someone screamed multiple times coz she was so scared! First time to enter into Malaysia, to go to Sabah! The first thing we saw on landing was a poster warning about the Zika virus. First we ate in a Chinese area. Then we went to the shopping center next to the hotel, and saw that lots of women wear hijabs. Drank some great Durian juice! But we saw many pieces of rotten fruits in the supermarket! When we shopped for sunscreen we saw that the SPF goes up to 130! There is an elephant brand of slippers called fipper, which is quite famous locally, so we bought some which felt very comfy. We also bought some long sleeved blouses for sun protection.

早上到了紅林灣沙灘，做了划獨木舟、坐香蕉船、水彩著色、等活動。香蕉船長開得很猛，七個乘客中只有我媽和我沒有被沖到水裡(姊姊們是有練過的喔)! 水彩著色放著幾分鐘後顏色會暈開，跟之前不一樣，所以重塗了好幾次都還是很難拿捏。下午去熱帶雨林河川之旅，要看長鼻猴，但是只有看到獼猴和貝克漢猴(畢竟長鼻猴都快絕種了)。晚餐後搭乘小艇夜遊螢河，看到好美麗夢幻的螢火蟲，一閃一閃的。抓到兩三隻，都好小，不到一公分! 不過拍照都拍不起來。

In the morning we went to Borneo Mangrove Bay, did canoeing, rode the banana boat, painted colors onto a pre-drawn fabric, etc. The banana boat driver was pretty ferocious. Out of the 7 people on the ride, only my mom and I didn’t get thrown out into the waters! The water painting was hard to control because the color spreads out after a few minutes so I had to repaint it many times. In the afternoon we went to the Proboscis Monkey River Cruise, but only spotted some Macaque and Beckham monkeys (after all, Proboscis monkeys are an endangered species). In the evening we went on a firefly river cruise, and the scenery was beautiful and dreamy. I caught two or three in my hands and they were tiny, <1cm. However, they couldn’t turn up on iPhone photos.

到了東姑阿都拉曼海上國家公園的沙比島浮潛及坐拖曳傘! 前往島上的快艇開得好快，都有點擔心會翻船然後iPhone壞掉! 浮潛看到好多魚，但是由於頭會隨著浪上下飄，居然看魚看到暈海。坐拖曳傘搭乘的船也是上下擺動的很厲害，所以坐船必暈船的我就感覺更噁心! 還好沒吐。船開到中央時船員還說有鯊魚，不知道是開玩笑還是說真的。坐拖曳傘時小阿姨嚇得要命，結果我媽和我坐，覺得一點也不可怕。不過我們拒絕船員把拖傘點入水裡，因為我身上有流血點，擔心真的會被鯊魚吞食!下午去新天地海濱廣場，吃Beans N Beans韓式下午茶，那時阿嬤像手機老手般的開始不斷滑手機!。晚上吃海鮮大餐，喝拉茶。

We went to Sapi Island, which is one of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park Islands, for snorkeling and parasailing! The boat going to the island went so fast that I was worried about the boat capsizing and ruining my iPhone! Saw many fishes during snorkeling but became sea sick because the wave made my head bob up and down as I watched the fishes. The boat taking us for the parasailing also shook up and down pretty violently which made me more sea sick. Good thing I didn’t vomit into the ocean! When we got to the middle of the sea, the boat drivers said there’s a shark, and we didn’t know if they were serious or joking. My aunt was scared for her life during parasailing while my mom and I didn’t find it scary at all. However, we declined to have the parachute dipped into the water because of the fear of being devoured by sharks as I did have a bleeding point. In the afternoon we went to Harbour Mall Sandakan, had Beans N Beans for afternoon tea, and my grandma started scrolling her smartphone like someone who’s an advanced user of smartphones! We had seafood for dinner and drank Teh Tarik.

今天是很逍遙自在，11點才集合。不過導遊沒有警告我們11點就直接去吃午餐，所以我們早餐都已經吃到十點才吃完，還很飽。下午去看看市區的一些當地知名的地標: 沙巴基金大廈，回教清真寺，普陀寺，默迪卡獨立廣場，艾京生大鐘樓。吃拉茶吐司下午茶，指壓按摩。晚上去旅館對面一間叫「成功號」的特產店買很多特產，包括榴槤乾、榴槤咖啡、肉骨茶、東革阿里、等等。店長很有趣，請我們吃榴槤冰棒、喝黑咖啡、還加臉書!

A slow day, left at 11am. The tour guided didn’t warn us that we were going straight for lunch at 11 though, so we ate breakfast until 10am and were still pretty full. In the afternoon, we visited some of the landmarks in the city: Sabah Foundation Building, Kota Kinabalu Sabah Mosque, Pu Tuo Si Temple, Merdeka Square, and Atkinson Clock Tower. We had Malaysia afternoon tea: Teh Tarik and toast. Then we had massage. We visited a local specialty shop called “Jaya Store” across from the hotel and bought things like dried Durian, Durian coffee, Bak Kut Teh, Tongkat Ali, etc. The shop owner was friendly, gave us black coffee, a durian ice block, and added our Facebook!

馬來西亞的最後一天過得很慢。下雨，導遊帶我們去特產店，都比前一天的店貴個3-4倍，所以我們什麼都沒買。導遊一直說東革阿里有多神奇。去了一間巧克力店自己做了巧克力。離開馬來西亞的馬航班機比之前入境的班機更搖晃!有時候覺得整架飛機都要掉下去了!還好我們都有生還!以後真的不敢再坐馬航!離開時，大家氣色都很好，玩得也蠻愉快的。願神祝福馬來西亞!

The last day in Malaysia was a slow day. It was raining and the tour guide took us to specialty shops, which costed 3-4x more than the specialty shop we visited the previous day, so we didn’t end up buying anything. The tour guide kept telling us about how miraculous Tongkat Ali is. There was one chocolate shop we visited that allowed us to make our own chocolate! Our outgoing Malaysian Airlines flight was even shakier than our incoming flight, and at some points it felt as though the plane will just plunge down! Luckily we survived! Don’t wanna be on another Malaysian Airlines flight ever again! Nevertheless, everyone’s face color looked very healthy by the end of the trip and we had fun. God bless Malaysia!
