I know a person, who’s just like a mirror.
Treat him genuinely: he treats you genuinely.
He is sharp.
Treat him under false pretense: he treats you just the same, mimicking all your words and actions in sarcasm.
Are people like mirrors? Yes, to some extent.
He is especially so. Perhaps this is his sense of “justice”?
I do not like that approach – it is not different from “an eye for an eye”.
My sense of “justice” is different. I prefer the approach of having some set principles about how one should treat others and endeavoring to treat everyone consistently.
